The BlockDAG Super App: April, Then June, Then August—How Many Launch Dates Does One Product Need?

The BlockDAG Super App is a perfect example of why investors need to preserve old roadmaps.

BlockDAG's current mainnet roadmap still displays a “Super Application” with a due date of April 20, 2026.

Another BlockDAG roadmap page presents a different sequence: ecosystem expansion in June, including a “Super App Launch” combining X1, wallet and staking.

The current FAQ adds yet another statement: the Super App is scheduled for full release in August.

April.

June.

August.

We are now in October.

What is the actual launch date?

This is not a trivial complaint about an app being late. BlockDAG has marketed an ecosystem, not merely a token. The Super App is supposed to help turn that ecosystem into something ordinary users can actually interact with—mining, wallet functions, staking and other services in one place.

The September 2026 BlockDAG keynote continues to describe the Super App as part of the widening ecosystem, saying it folds core services into a single mobile hub.

That sounds useful.

But investors deserve to know what is live today and what remains promotional.

BlockDAG should publish a feature-by-feature status.

Is the production Super App publicly downloadable?

Which functions work on mainnet?

Does X1 mining operate through it?

Can users hold and transfer BDAG?

Is staking live?

Are swaps live?

Which functions shown in promotional material are still under development?

And why did the schedule move from April to June to August?

There may be legitimate engineering reasons. Mobile software can be delayed by security testing, app-store review or integration problems.

But the explanation has to come from BlockDAG.

Investors should not be expected to invent excuses for missed dates.

That is the recurring problem across this project's history. A date appears. The date generates anticipation. The date passes. Another date appears.

The old one receives less attention.

For someone who has been following BlockDAG since 2024, that cycle becomes exhausting. The investor is constantly told that utility is close enough to justify waiting just a little longer.

Then “a little longer” becomes years.

The Super App chronology should be documented precisely because it is so easy to verify.

Save the April roadmap.

Save the June roadmap.

Save the FAQ's August statement.

Save the September keynote description.

Then compare those promises with the product that is actually available.

BlockDAG can end the argument quickly by publishing a release history with version numbers, launch dates and working features.

If the app is fully live, show where users can obtain it and demonstrate the functions.

If it is partially live, say partially live.

If it is delayed, say delayed.

What investors should no longer accept is a moving date presented each time as though the previous date never existed.

April mattered when BlockDAG published April.

June mattered when BlockDAG published June.

August mattered when BlockDAG published August.

Words and dates do not expire simply because the calendar moves on.

BlockDAG asked investors to believe in the Super App as part of the ecosystem.

Now show them exactly what was delivered.
