BlockDAG's history is filled with clocks.
Presale stages.
Price increases.
Awakening.
Mainnet.
Exchange expansion.
The Super App.
BlockDAG X.
Buyback payment.
Each new date asks investors to focus forward.
That is exactly why the old dates must not be forgotten.
By October 2026, the BlockDAG story stretches back roughly two and a half years. Its own materials date the project kickoff to January 2024. The company later described mainnet completion, then additional testing, then the final stretch before Awakening, then final presale windows, then 2026 launch milestones.
The BlockDAG X website displayed an opening date of August 22, 2026 at 14:00 UTC. The countdown reached zero.
Buyback dashboards displayed October 1, 2026 at 10:00 UTC and said payment would be USDT sent to the investor's wallet.
For an investor waiting on money, the most dangerous phrase now may be another future date.
Because another date can shift attention away from the one that already passed.
That cannot be allowed to happen.
If October 1 was the agreed payment date for a completed buyback, the question is not whether BlockDAG has announced another program.
The question is: where is the October 1 payment?
If BlockDAG says the timeframe changed, identify the contractual authority for changing it and show when the investor agreed.
If BlockDAG says payment occurred, show the transaction.
If BlockDAG says tokens will be substituted for USDT, show where the investor accepted that substitution.
Do not reset the clock by announcement.
An agreement has two sides.
Investors were expected to follow eligibility rules, transfer the required tokens and comply with program limits. BlockDAG must be held to the terms that applied to its side too.
The emotional impact of repeated postponement should not be minimized.
Someone may have waited years for liquidity. They may have planned around the payment. They may have told a spouse that the money would arrive. They may have bills, debt or other financial needs.
When the date passes, another promise about the future does not restore that person's confidence.
Performance does.
Investors should now work together around the dates that already exist.
Create a shared chronology.
January 2024: project begins.
November 2024: BlockDAG's development history describes mainnet completion.
September 2025: final stretch before Awakening.
Early 2026: final presale and mainnet milestones.
August 22, 2026: BlockDAG X opening date.
October 1, 2026: buyback payment date shown to investors.
Then add every changed date and explanation.
That record should become the backbone of accountability.
BlockDAG can answer it point by point.
No insults are necessary.
No speculation is necessary.
The dates are enough.
For every missed commitment, explain what happened.
For every changed agreement, identify the authority and consent.
For every payment claimed as completed, show the transaction.
For every outstanding valid obligation, provide a resolution date and then meet it.
Investors have already spent years being told what happens next.
The project does not need another opportunity to make the past disappear beneath the future.
Stop resetting the clock.
Resolve what is already due.
And where investors are owed money, pay them.
